Prac 1 -4 Materials, Method, Results and then Brief Discussion

Prac 1: Lap of oval

 Materials:
 1.   Sphygmomanometer (records blood pressure and pulse)
 2.   Thermometer
 3.   Pen& paper (to record results)

 Method:
 1.   When relaxed, and not recovering from any exercise, record vitals: Blood pressure,
body temperature and pulse.
 2.   Whether timed or not, run a steady pace around a distance, not a sprint, in this case, around 250m.
 3.   As soon as the subject has finished, record their vitals, when they are still puffin and there heart rate is up, otherwise it is not a true indication as over time they begin to recover.
 4.   Test with other subjects to see if around the same results are found

 Prac 2: 100m sprint

 Materials:
 1.   Sphygmomanometer (records blood pressure and pulse)
 2.   Thermometer
 3.   Pen& paper (to record results)

 Method:
 1.   When relaxed, and not recovering from any exercise, record vitals: Blood pressure, body temperature and pulse.
 2.   Whether timed or not, sprint 100m.
 3.   As soon as the subject has finished, record their vitals, when they are still puffin and there heart rate is up, otherwise it is not a true indication as over time they begin to recover.
 4.   Test with other subjects to see if around the same results are found

 Prac 3: Scare test

Materials:
 1.   Sphygmomanometer (records blood pressure and pulse)
 2.   Thermometer
 3.   Balloon
 4.   Pin (to pop balloon)
 5.   Pen& paper (to record results)

 Method:
 1.   When relaxed, and not recovering from any exercise, record subjects vitals: Blood pressure, body temperature and pulse.
 2.   Blow up balloon and have pin ready
 3.   When subject is unsuspecting, pop balloon behind head with pin in attempt to scare them.
 4.   Immediately after and before they calm down, record vitals again.
 5.   Can test with other subjects if desired.

 Prac 4: Red Bull

Materials:
 1.   Sphygmomanometer (records blood pressure and pulse)
 2.   Thermometer
 3.   3x Red Bull
 4.   Pen & paper (to record results)

 Method:
 1.   When
relaxed, and not recovering from any exercise, record subjects vitals: Blood
pressure, body temperature and pulse.
 2.   Drink one can of Red Bull
 3.   Record vitals periodically every 15 min for an hour
 4.   Test with other subjects
